Itruz

the Intruz in Dogrim -Mandur since Tagore's
family comes from there and she lived there for several years.She says that
Intruz (Shigmo) of the Hindus was celebrated just before our Carnival and
sometimes continued up to Carnival or coincided with it . She and Tagore
remember Bailadeiras dancing in this Intruz. Apparently this was the first
Hindu Intruz in Goa.
